Shaikh Imran was born and raised in Montreal. He began serving communities in the Northeastern United States for the first six years of his ministry. Since 2010, he has been serving the Montreal community as Imam of Mosquée Madani and Principal of Academy An-Noor, an after-school program offering weekday, evening, and weekend classes to a student population of over 1,200. He is a community imam, chaplain, and educator known for his compassionate approach, practical guidance, and ability to connect faith with real-life challenges, with a strong focus on healing, resilience, and community upliftment.
