Meet Our Speakers

Shaykh Daood Butt completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in Da'wah and Usool Al-Deen from the Islamic University of Madinah and his Master of Arts degree in Islamic and Other Civilizations from the International Islamic University of Malaysia. After returning to Canada he served as an Imam and Director of Community Outreach and Education, Islamic Community Centre of Milton and a Muslim Chaplain (Imam) at the Milton District Hospital and Maplehurst Correctional Complex (Prison).

He's traveled extensively for over a decade delivering lectures and seminars on Islam. Shaykh Daood has been teaching for Miftaah Institute for a number of years and recently returned to Canada from Portugal where he teaches in person, online and internationally.
